Wrexham

IT equipment collection in Wrexham. Twenty-five minutes up the A483, no shipping, paid on the day.

We're based just over the Welsh border in Oswestry, so Wrexham is right next door. If you've got old laptops, desktops, servers or phones gathering dust in a stockroom, we'll come to you, wipe the drives properly, and pay you for what's worth something.

Wrexham's profile has lifted noticeably in the last few years. The Industrial Estate is busier, Technology Park has new tenants, and that means more offices doing a hardware refresh. We've been seeing more enquiries from the area as a result, mostly from professional services and engineering firms catching up after a few quiet years.

01 / Where we go

All over Wrexham, same week.

We collect across the town and the wider county borough. Most of the work happens at:

01
Wrexham Industrial Estate & Redwither
Manufacturing & office
02
Wrexham Technology Park
Tech & SME
03
Town centre & Regent Street
Solicitors, accountants, design
04
Llay Industrial Estate & Ash Road
Trade & light industrial
05
Surrounding villages — Ruabon, Rhostyllen, Gresford, Marchwiel, Rossett
By arrangement

Inside the bypass, off the A483, anywhere in the Industrial Estate — we'll be there. Outside that, just say where, we'll work it out.

02 / Who we pick up from

A real spread, manufacturing through to professional services.

Wrexham Industrial Estate alone covers everything from chemical plants and food production to plastics and engineering. The town centre and Redwither host the professional services — solicitors, accountants, architects, design agencies, surveyors. Wrexham Technology Park has tech firms and growing SMEs.

They all cycle through hardware on a 3 to 4 year refresh and the old kit ends up in a corner of the stockroom. That's the work we do. Most Wrexham jobs are batches of 5 to 30 devices: a few generations of laptops, some desktops, the odd server, sometimes phones from a contract refresh.

03 / Why local matters

No couriers, no boxes, no waiting.

National refurb companies want you to package the kit, label it, book a courier and wait. That's a half-day's work for whoever ends up with the job, on top of everything else. We just turn up.

From Oswestry to Wrexham is twenty-five minutes up the A483. We know the town, we know which Industrial Estate units are easy to get into and which ones you have to find round the back of, and we plan visits so you're not waiting in for a half-day window. Pick a slot that suits, we're there when we say we'll be.

Travel is on us. The price you're quoted is the price you're paid.

04 / The data side

Drives wiped properly, certificate per device.

Every drive that leaves with us is sanitised to NIST 800-88, the actual industry standard. You get a wipe certificate for every device, listing serial numbers and method, so if your auditor or DPO ever asks, the paper trail is on one page.

For regulated firms — legal, accountancy, engineering with client data — the certificate is the part that actually matters. More on data security.

05 / What we pay

Bank transfer on collection day.

Once we've checked the kit matches what was described, we transfer the agreed amount on the spot. Receipt by email within 24 hours. No purchase orders, no 30-day invoices, no chase.

What we pay depends on what you've got. Older office desktops with no SSD aren't worth much, modern ThinkPads or MacBooks with decent specs are worth a meaningful amount, and rack servers can be worth a surprising amount. Whatever it is, we'll be honest about the number and why.

06 / How to get a quote

Tell us anything, we'll come back with a number.

The form is the easiest way. Bullet points are fine. A photo of the cupboard is even better. You don't need an asset register — model numbers and a rough count work, "5 or 6 old laptops, mix of Dells" works, even a one-line description works.

We'll come back inside a working day with an estimate, in writing. If it's a fit, we book a slot. If it isn't, no chase, just bin the email.

Even rough — we'll come back with a ballpark and a slot that fits.
