How it works

Four steps. No commitment to ask.

Tell us anything, get a ballpark, agree a slot, we collect and pay. The estimate's not binding either way until you say go and we've seen the kit.

01 / TELL US

Anything works.

Email us or use the form. Bullet points, rough numbers, photos, vague descriptions — all fine. "Got 5 old laptops in a cupboard" is a perfectly good message.

You don't need an asset register, model numbers, or condition notes. We figure it out together.

02 / ESTIMATE

A ballpark, in writing.

We come back with an estimate based on what you've told us. It's a ballpark, not a binding offer — the final number depends on what we find when we inspect the kit. We'll flag if anything significantly changes the price before we adjust.

No obligation. If the estimate works for you, ping back and we'll book a slot. Want to talk it through first? Reply with a number, we'll call you back. If it's not for you, just bin the email — no chase.

03 / COLLECT

We come to your premises.

You agree the estimate, we agree a slot that works for you. Our home patch is Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales. Anywhere else in the UK, we'll come and get it.

Whatever's easiest for you. If you want labelled boxes and proper paperwork on the day, we bring them. If you'd rather we just turn up and load the van, that's fine too.

04 / WIPE & PAY

Drives wiped, then bank transfer.

Every drive is wiped to NIST 800-88 Purge spec — overwrite plus verification. The destruction standard the US Federal Government uses. Drives that won't accept a wipe are physically destroyed instead.

You get a Certificate of Data Destruction per device, with serial number, drive model, method, and verification result. PDFs by email.

We test the kit, confirm condition, and pay by bank transfer. If the condition matches what was described, the price stands. If it's significantly different, we discuss before adjusting.

Common questions

The bits that come up most.

Do you take a single device or a small batch?

Yes. There's no minimum. A handful of laptops is fine. Bulk usually gets a better per-unit price (logistics scale), but we'll consider whatever you have.

What kit do you actually buy?

Business kit of most ages: laptops, desktops, monitors, servers, network gear, phones, tablets, docks, accessories. Working, partly working, or broken — we'll look at most things. Send what you've got.

What if I don't know what I have?

That's normal. Send a photo, a rough count, "a cupboard of laptops" — anything. We'll come back with questions if we need them, or a ballpark if we don't.

How safe is the data wipe?

NIST 800-88 Purge — overwrite plus verification, certificate per device. The standard used by US Federal Government for IT decommissioning. Drives that won't wipe get physically destroyed.

What if some kit is broken?

Mention it. Broken kit can still have parts value (RAM, drives, panels, working components). We just price it differently from working kit.

Even rough. We'll come back with a ballpark, no obligation.
